24 Days & 24 Reasons to Eat Clean

Day 24! I've made it! Today I will be finishing up a 24-day wholefood based nutritional program. It doesn't sound fun, you say? Well, let's talk about what's on the menu tonight. Grilled salmon with homemade pesto with steamed veggies, and for dessert, a choco-blueberry smoothie.

This program has been so effective, and honestly, enjoyable. While yes, it does set guidelines, it's not like Whole30 where you just get a lot of "Don't do this. Don't eat that." Instead, it provided me with a full 24-day meal plan, recipes and all, online support for all my questions, direct contact with the co-founder of the nutrition company, and RESULTS. I don't just mean weight loss (↓ 9.4 lbs). We're talking full health benefits ranging from bloating, to energy and quality of sleep.

Let's look at 24 reasons this program worked for me and why it can work for literally anyone. 1. It makes sense. Seems like a simple reason, right? But think about it, does doing a 3-day juice detox actually make sense? No. You starve yourself of the nutrients you need to be getting to support your overall health, including your digestion. 3. The meal plan, which lays out 3 full meals and a filling snack. You don't have to hop on Pinterest searching for a dairy-free, gluten-free, yadda yadda recipe. You know exactly what to eat.

4. Micronutrient support. The program provides a product that supports you down to a cellular-level. Without healthy cells, you can't have a healthy body. 5. Macronutrients. If you've read my blog, you know all about the importance of having the right balance of carbs, fat, and protein. The creators of this program worked with a nutrition expert to ensure that the meal plan and recipes provided enough of each of the macros to support our daily activities.

Smoothie sachets - vanilla and chocolate, to add in with the smoothie recipes. The smoothies are NOT used as meal replacements and they are quite filling.
