Restart

After an unintentional 3 month hiatus, I'm back at it! I joined Gold's Gym with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago. I'm finishing up my Master's this week, so once that is checked off my to-do list (it's been on there for four years) I'll be back on a more intense gym routine. So far we have done a Cardio Day (Gold's has a Cardio Cinema! That counts as a date night, right?), Back/Bis, Leg Day, and lastly Tris/Back/Calves. I have to admit, after doing Tris it hurts to lift my arms to wash my hair or take off a hoodie. That's sad...and that is why I will not be taking a break from the gym like that again.

I will also be getting back to my clean eating and macro counting. There is no denying that the right food yields the right results. You can workout all you'd like, but without the right nutrition you won't see the results you're busting your you butt for. I ordered Michael Matthews's book Thinner, Leaner Stronger for women - the boy's version is Bigger, Leaner, Stronger - to see what he has to teach me and his cookbook The Shredded Chef to help put together some quality meals. Each recipe lists the macros which will be such a big help. Check back to see the recipes I try!
