The Background
The first time I started a regular workout routine was at the end of 2015 when I was overseas for work and had nothing to do but go to the gym. When I got back home to Virginia, I started an 8-week program. I lifted, I ran, I counted macros, and I ate clean. After that, I kept lifting as a hobby and form of "self-therapy."
In November of 2017 I made a "30 Before 30 Bucket List." The idea to compete in an NPC Bikini competition popped into my head. I have no idea where it came from, but after that moment I never looked back. I began prep a couple weeks later and competed at the Max Muscle Virginia Classic in April of 2018. I am now in love with the sport and look forward all the progress and competitions ahead!
One year after my first competition, I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and became a Fitness Nutrition Specialist the following year. I want to help other women (and men) find their strength, inside and out! There's a lot of empowerment in fitness and I hope to show YOU that.
